Barely Xtensions Clip In Extensions come with 5 or 10 wefts (depending on if you purchase our 18" or 20" Clip In Extensions), and the clips are non-removable. Our 3-in-1 Hair Wrap, on the other hand, comes with 3 clips and two removable clips (so 5 in total), as well as an invisible wire to wrap around the crown of your head. There is only one giant weft of hair in the 3-in-1 Hair Wrap. Also, our Clip In Extensions are made out of 100% Remy Human Hair, while our 3-in-1 Hair Wrap is made from 100% Human Hair.

We find that for best results, your hair should be about a minimum of 6 inches in length for the extensions to blend naturally.

All you need to do is simply part your hair and then slide the clips securely into your hair. CAN I SWIM OR SLEEP WHILE WEARING CLIP IN HAIR EXTENSIONS?

No! We do not recommend wearing Barely Xtensions while sleeping, swimming, or performing any intense physical activity. The extensions are perfect for day-to-day life and are quick and easy to apply and remove.

CAN CLIP IN HAIR EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY HAIR?

Clip in extensions will not damage your hair, if worn properly. When taking out your clip in extensions, make sure to carefully remove them so you do not pull your natural hair. We do not advise sleeping in or working out in Barely Xtensions Clip In Extensions, as this can lead to damage to your hair follicles.

When color matching your own hair color to Barely Xtensions be sure to choose a color that matches your hair from the mid-shaft to the ends. This will ensure a natural blend of color between your own hair and the extensions.

WHY ARE BARELY XTENSIONS CLIP INS REFERRED TO AS "ULTRA SEAMLESS?"

Barely Xtensions Clip-ins are referred to as "Ultra Seamless" thanks to the 1/4-inch, micro thin skin weft that is used to create them. This uniquely thin weft allows the extensions to lay flat against your head for an undetectable, and totally comfortable, finish!

The lifespan of the Barely Xtensions Ultra Seamless Clip-ins will be determined by how well they are taken care of, what products are used, and how often they are worn. Perfectly cared for Barely Xtensions should last 4-6 months with proper care and maintenance.

WHAT PRODUCTS CAN BE USED ON BARELY XTENSIONS?

We recommend to only use high quality sulfate-free and alcohol-free hair products specifically formulated for hydration as they will help keep the strands healthy and nourished. A heat protectant spray, oil serum and leave-in conditioner will be ideal in order to prolong the lifespan of your BarelyXtensions.

DO I WASH MY BARELY XTENSIONS? HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WASH THEM?

YES! Keep in mind your Barely Xtensions do not receive natural oils from the scalp like your own hair, therefore they do not need to be washed often. We suggest only washing your Barely Xtensions when they become unmanageable to style. The less you wash them, the longer they will last.

It is highly recommended to use sulfate-free and alcohol-free hair products. We recommend always using a deep-conditioning mask when washing your Barely Xtensions as this will help retain moisture and keep the hair smooth and silky.

Always use shampoo first and then apply a generous amount of a deep conditioning mask from top to bottom. Upon rinsing, towel dry and apply a leave-in conditioner. The best way to dry your hair extensions is to lay them flat on a clean towel and let them air dry.

CAN I USE HEAT STYLING TOOLS ON MY BARELY XTENSIONS?

Just like your own hair, Barely Xtensions Ultra Seamless Clip In Extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled and curled.

However, in order to preserve the lifespan of your Barely Xtensions, we suggest you always use a low heat setting along with a heat protectant spray prior to styling.

HOW DO YOU BRUSH BARELY XTENSIONS? HOW OFTEN DO THEY NEED TO BE BRUSHED?

In order to keep your Barely Xtensions smooth and tangle free, it is extremely important to brush the extensions. You should always brush them before and after each wear in order to increase the lifespan of your set. We recommend using an ultra-gentle boar bristle paddle hair brush that can effectively detangle while avoiding breakage.

WHAT DAY-TO-DAY CARE IS RECOMMENDED FOR BARELY XTENSIONS?

After each time you wear your Barely Xtensions, you should carefully remove and brush them and then store them in a safe place. We recommend purchasing a hair extension case or simply storing the extensions in a clean plastic bag or in the package in which they were sent to you. You do not need to wash your extensions on a daily basis - only when they become too unmanageable to style.

CAN BARELY XTENSIONS BE COLORED?

Barely Xtensions are 100% Remy Human Hair and we DO NOT recommend any type of coloring, bleaching, or any other chemical process. Each Barely Xtensions set has gone through a special coloring process to accept the correct tonality for each specified shade to keep the hair in the healthiest condition possible. Coloring may decrease the hair quality as well as shorten the lifespan of your extensions.

CAN BARELY XTENSIONS BE CUSTOM CUT?

Yes, we recommend visiting a professional to have your Barely Xtensions custom cut to flawlessly blend into your natural hair. Because cutting hair extensions is different than natural hair, we recommend finding someone who specializes in extensions. Barely Xtensions is not responsible for any damages that occur once the hair extensions have been cut.

WHAT DO I DO IF I LOSE A CLIP FROM THE WEFT?

In the event a clip simply comes loose or falls off, it is a simple fix of just sewing the clip back on to the weft with a sewing kit. We have been proactive by including two extra clips for further customization or replacement when clips break or damage over time.
